This fortunate timing allowed for productive discussions that will play a crucial role in strengthening UHAS’s position as a leading institution in the years to come.
One of the key topics on our agenda was the continuation of the permanent site project, which aims to provide adequate accommodation for both students and faculty. During our discussions, Prof. Frank Edwin and Prof. Baiden voiced their deep concerns about the ongoing challenges posed by the incomplete infrastructure, which has significantly impacted both students and lecturers.
Recognizing the immense value UHAS brings to the Hohoe community, I reaffirmed my unwavering commitment to advocating for the project's timely completion. Ensuring that the necessary facilities are in place is not just about improving education—it’s about investing in the future of healthcare and public health research in Ghana.
This meeting reinforced the need for collaboration and urgent action. Together, with the right support and dedication, we can help UHAS achieve its full potential as a center of excellence in public health education.
