Other Critical Projects

In our pursuit of progress and prosperity for the Hohoe Constituency, Efo Worlanyo and the NDC envisions a Hohoe Constituency marked by robust development and innovation. He is committed to expediting critical road projects, enhancing local sports through school and community initiatives, and driving industrial growth with new ventures and partnerships. Additionally, Efo aims to elevate Hohoe to a metropolitan assembly, ensuring that our governance evolves to better serve our community.

Road Development

  1. Advocate for the expedited completion of the Hohoe segment of the Eastern Corridor Road.
  2. Seek funding for 10 km of asphalted roads connecting critical routes to Hohoe township, including the Fodome to Hohoe and Wegbe to Hohoe roads.
  3. Continue the development of the Wli Todzi Road and other important link roads.

Sports Development

  1. Enhance school-level sports by providing necessary equipment and resources.
  2. Create and support community football competitions to identify and nurture local talent.

Industrialization

  1. Reassess and advance the original plan for a light industrial center at Gbi Godenu, collaborating with Rural Enterprise to establish a Garages' Village with an integrated bolt and nut factory.
  2. Pursue private partnerships to set up a waste recycling plant within the constituency.
  3. Utilize the talents in Alavanyo and surrounding areas to develop a metal works factory.

Local Governance

  1. Advocate for the transformation of Hohoe into a metropolitan assembly to better reflect the needs and aspirations of the constituents.
